The unique design of the Sewer Safe Install Tool allows it to be used for all sizes of Sewer Safe; from the 3.5-inch model all the way to the 12-inch model. The Install tool is built from high-quality, acid-resistant stainless steel, meaning it will last years with constant use.
The Sewer Safe Install Tool works by twisting the handle of the tool which clamps onto the Sewer Safe. As you continue to wind the handle, the tool will pull the walls of the Sewer Safe in, allowing you to insert the flap into the pipe. Once the Sewer Safe is fully inserted the handle can be twisted in the opposite direction to expand the walls of the flap. This will leave the flap firmly in place and as you continue to unwind the Install Toll will uncouple from the Sewer Safe.
The Sewer Safe Install Tool also features a magnet to collect any lost objects in a drain that may become a hazard and cause a blockage.
